Met is a seamlessly integrated compact kitchen design solution ideal for small kitchens and living rooms.

The name stands for Metropolitan Future Kitchen and features a flexible island that converts from an attractive, unassuming counter with just one click into a fully functional kitchen workspace. The kitchen comes to life when in “operation” mode, but when the island is closed, everything disappears leaving a big counter console in an orderly, pleasant living area. A unique mix of design and technology, Met is the perfect kitchen for the space-conscious cook.

Safety sensors verify there are no objects to prevent the safe closure of the extension mechanism; the cooktop hood and the sink faucet are also retractable. The Met convertible island is available in two sizes: 77 inches and 100 inches.

Aran Cucine is committed to doing its part to protect the environment by producing its products from recyclable and ethical materials in a sustainable way. It purchases most of its wood from companies certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and has installed a diligent waste collection system within its own warehouses—90% of waste generated by the manufacturing process is recycled. The company has also built four solar power plants with the goal of becoming completely self-sufficient in its energy needs.
