The main reason of returns is that product you have purchased not fitting in the available space in your house. To avoid this inconvenience please go through the following checklist before you order the product:

• Measure the area where the product will be placed,and be sure the product you've selected fits within these dimensions.
• Be sure that you have an appropriate electric outlet (if applicable) in the place you have chosen for the product.

On-Line Ordering Security

Your online shopping experience has security measures in place to protect the loss,misuse and alteration of the information under our control. All customer records are stored on a secure SQL server with controls to provide limited access. Shopping European Cabinets By Design is safe. When you place orders,all of your order information,including your card number and delivery address,is passed through our server. Our secure server uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL),which encrypts your order information and transmits it to us. SSL technology,the industry-leading standard,is designed to prevent someone other than European Cabinets By Design from viewing and downloading your information.

Order Acceptance

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order,nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. European Cabinets By Design reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. We may require additional verification or information before accepting any order.

Pricing and Sales Taxes

All prices are in US Dollars; only US dollars will be accepted for payment towards Products,Shipping,and Sales Tax.

European Cabinets By Design charges all applicable sales taxes required by the state of California on purchases of goods and services made through the website. If you place an order being shipped outside of California,you are responsible for paying all sales and use taxes that apply in your home state.

Forms of Payment

European Cabinets By Design accept the following major credit cards: Visa and MasterCard. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (this is the address where your credit card company sends your statements). Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order. We reserve the right to refuse any orders where the credit card billing is not located within the United States or for cards issued by non-US banks. Your shipping address should be the same as your billing address.

European Cabinets By Design offer a Secure Transaction with the following companies Visa and Master Card. We WILL NOT charge your credit card until your product(s) shipped.

Credit Card Declines

If you receive a message that we are unable to authorize or charge your credit card,please check with the issuing bank for your card. Credit cards may be declined for a variety of reasons and we do not have access to further information. Common reasons for declines or no matches are invalid expiration dates and submitting a billing address on your order that is different than the address where your credit card statement is sent. Also,using a billing name on your order that is different than the billing name on your credit card may result in a decline.

We will not attempt to charge your credit card again until you submit to European Cabinets By Design updated credit card information. Please reply to the notification we send with a telephone number where we can contact you regarding an alternative credit card or updated credit card information. Orders will be voided after one week if we do not receive updated credit card information.

In-Stock Items

In-stock items ship same or next business day unless otherwise indicated. Once shipped,orders usually arrive within 7-10 business days.

Out-of-Stock Items

If for some unforeseen reason an item is no longer available, or will be backordered for an extended period of time,you will be notified. In these circumstances it may take up to 10-12 weeks to deliver product from Europe.

Shipping and Handling Information

Please allow 2-3 weeks to receive your order for items in stock. Shipping for our customers is free. European Cabinets By Design reserves the right to cancel order(s) at any time.
Orders placed after business hours on Friday,Saturday and Sunday will be packed on Monday.

The following terms applies for all purchases that have been made through our website:

• You will receive an email confirmation of your order.
• From the time you order,you can expect delivery in 2-3 weeks for items in stock.

Many of our larger products will ship via motor carrier. All motor carrier deliveries are tailgate deliveries at the end of your driveway. You will need to be prepared to unload the package and transfer it into your home or office once it arrives.

Product Inspections

Please remember that when the order arrives it is your responsibility to ensure that the freight company has not damaged the product in transit. Inspect the box for external damage,remove the packaging and inspect the contents for any physical damage in the presence of the delivery driver. If there is any damage,visible or not,you must indicate such on the delivery receipt.

Again,please take the time to inspect the delivery and if there is any damage be sure to note it on the delivery ticket. If the damage is severe enough to render the product inoperable or unusable,please refuse the shipment and contact us immediately. Concealed damage is almost impossible to prove if no notation was made at the time of delivery. However,if you discover internal (non-visible) damage please contact us within three (3) business days for instructions. We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue to the best of our ability.

Cancellation Policy

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placing the order if it is not already shipped. Any order cancelled after 24 hours,will be a subject to a 15% restocking fee. To cancel the order,please call us at 650.843.0901.

If your order has not been processed we will void your order. If you request to cancel a processed order we will forward the cancellation request to our fulfillment facility and/or manufacture. Your order will be considered cancelled only upon receipt of the cancellation confirmation.

Occasionally we receive notice of a non-returnable and/or non-cancelable policy after you have placed your order. You will be notified prior to processing in that event.

To cancel an order:

• Please indicate which items you wish to cancel or if you wish to cancel the entire order. Please include your name and your order number in the email.

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, European Cabinets By Design shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. We shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, European Cabinets By Design shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Product Color

Please note that due to the natural differences in computer displays, product color may not exactly match that shown on your screen.

Refund Policy

We will gladly accept returns/exchanges if we are notified within 15 calendar days of delivery. In order to expedite your return please complete the following steps:

• Obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) by submitting your request through our online Returns form or sending e-mail to returns@europeancabinets.com. We will need your name,address,e-mail address,purchase invoice number and date,part number,and reason for requesting return authorization number.
• We cannot accept returns without an RGA. Request for return authorization must be made within 15 days of the date on your purchase invoice. This process normally takes 7-10 business days.
• All returns for defective merchandise or incorrectly shipped items will be returned at our expense.
• Return all products in the original packaging. You must include with the return all manuals accessories and parts to obtain full credit. Following receipt of the merchandise a replacement will be shipped or we will credit your account. Collect shipments are not accepted.
• Ship to the address instructed. Shipping to any other address will delay or prevent the processing of your return. An additional handling charge will be incurred if you ship to any other address than instructed. We must receive return parts no later than 21 days of the date on your Return Goods Authorization form.
• If you wish to return a product for any reason other than defect or incorrect shipment, we will accept your return under the following conditions. You must follow the RGA guidelines above and the following conditions apply:

  ◊ The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with the return. Item must be returned in new,resalable condition.

  ◊ A restocking fee of 15% will apply to all processed and returned orders. The restocking fee is based on your cost for the item being returned. This does not apply if we send you the wrong part due to our error. If we send you the wrong part due to our error,we will exchange the part for you, charging you only the difference in the cost of the parts. If the part you return is higher in price than the part that you are shipped in replacement, we will refund the difference if paid,or credit your credit card if it was charged to your credit card. We will send you the correct part and will refund you the cost of returning the incorrect part.

• In some cases a special order item may be identified by the manufacturer as non-returnable and/or non-cancelable. In such case you will be notified as previously indicated before we place the order with the manufacturer.
• We cannot accept damaged merchandise that was not inspected by the customer on the original delivery. If a customer signs for a delivery clear and does not note any damage,no return will be issued.

No returns can be accepted for parts which we do not stock that we special order for you. Once your order is placed,it cannot be canceled. This is the policy of our distributor and we have no control over it. We will let you know in advance if the item must be special ordered.

No returns will be accepted for any part that has been installed. If a part that is returned is found to have been installed,no refund will be issued. There will be a 15% restocking fee for all non-defective stock parts returned for refund.

No parts that are damaged in shipment may be returned for credit or exchange. We are not responsible for lost or damaged shipments. This issue covered only by optional shipping insurance,which our company always uses. We will file a loss claim with the carrier if your shipment is lost or damaged.
